Out of the Box

Tuesday, January 25, 2011

I'm sure everyone has this dream of travelling all over the world. So do I. HOWEVER, there's a lot of hindrances that stop us from pursuing this dream. I have been thinking about this matter. MONEY is my main concern. T.T Why wasn't I born in a super wealthy family?

HOLD IT RIGHT THERE PEOPLE!
The "saviour" is here!!!

Out of the Box is a collaboration between three people who believe that individuals, families and groups of people are looking for ways to get more out of life. The collaboration brings together Julian Hyde, Siew Yeen Lee and Paul Jambunathan, about who more can be found on their about us page. Having known each other for a number of years, they believe that they have something to offer people who are looking to break the mould.

The name Out of the Box reflects this, pointing to ways for people to develop themselves, experience life and learn new skills - and our goal is to provide a range of opportunities to help people achieve this.

Currently, they provide three programmes, namely:

Work & Travel USA: providing university students in Malaysia with the opportunity to work in the USA for up to four months, and travel for an additional month. No more standing on the sidelines wathcing, but a unique opportunity to live life in the USA - up close and personal!

Trainee Programmes: making it possible for students and recent graduates to go to the USA to acquire professional work experience associated with their major field of study or professional endeavour for up to 18 months, and explore life in the United Sates with maximum freedom and at minimum cost.

Personal Development: for individuals who want to do more with their lives but lack the skills and confidence.

GOSH! What a mouth-watering offer! Can't wait till I graduate and sign up for the Work & Travel USA or Trainee Programmes. Dad has always been telling me, going overseas to learn about their cultures is very important in our lives. It will help us see and value stuff differently.

So Imma start saving $$$!!! AMERICA WAIT FOR ME!!!
